Urgior
Urgior was a Durbuluk orc who united part of the northern orc forces and began a period of their significant rise. During the reign of Anne I he was content with tribute, as he concentrated on the former hall of the Dwarven Crown, but under Magnus VIII. began to threaten the northern borders of the empire again. His greatest military achievement was the defeat of the Imperial battalions in the battle known as the Slaughterhouse at the Two Hundred and Eighth Tower, where he deployed elite hexblades with heavily enchanted weapons. He died at the hands of the goblin Skull Hunters, who feared his efforts to subjugate or destroy all guilds beyond their control.
Durbuluk of the new north
Urgior became one of the most prominent goblin leaders of his time. He carried the title Durbuluk not only as a sign of power, but also as a symbol of the ability to unify and lead goblin forces beyond the boundaries of normal raids. With his rise, the orcs ceased to be just a fragmented threat to the northern regions. They began to act as a more organized force, capable of planning, negotiating and carrying out significant military strikes.
Tribute from Anna I.
Anna I decided not to go to war with Urgior. She knew that a war with the goblins would be cruel, expensive, and dangerous for the northern provinces, which were important areas of the Youlender family. Urgior then accepted tribute in the form of cattle and gold, as his attention was directed primarily to the former halls of the Dwarven Crown. This decision postponed a major clash with the Empire, but did not remove the threat.
Slaughterhouse at the Two Hundred and Eighth Tower
During the reign of Magnus VIII. Urgior decided to strike directly against the Imperial forces. At tower number 208 of the third defense line, he attacked two battalions sent to protect the north. In this battle he deployed his hexblades, elite warriors with heavily enchanted weapons. They were able to break through the Imperial troops so devastatingly that the army could not find an effective answer. The defeat at the Two Hundred and Eighth Tower became one of the Empire's greatest humiliations in this era.
Death at the hands of the Skull Hunters
Magnus VIII. after the defeat, he gathered seven battalions and planned one of the largest retaliatory expeditions in history. Urgior was aware that a clash on Imperial territory might be too risky for him. Before the decisive war took place, Urgior was killed by the goblin Skull Hunters. They were long-term dissatisfied with his efforts to eliminate or subjugate all the guilds that he did not control. His death ended the immediate threat to the Empire, but also showed how dangerously powerful the goblin world was becoming.
