The Age of the First Humanoids is the oldest and longest known period of Oi's history. It is not yet a time of states, wars, crowns or named nations, but an epoch of biological origin, slow evolution and the formation of the very foundations of intelligent life. It was in this age that Alpha humanoids and later Beta humanoids, the common basis of most naturally occurring humanoid races, appeared in the territory of today's Ulvenor. Oia differed from many other worlds at this time in that its development was not repeatedly interrupted by devastating global extinctions. Life could therefore layer up, adapt over the long term and create an extremely stable but at the same time very diverse biosphere.

The Age of Tribes and Clans follows the Henstir disaster and the long isolation of humanoid populations. In this epoch, separate races are gradually stabilized from the original Beta humanoids, which acquire their own physical features, environment, ways of survival and the first cultural memory. It is an age without great empires, but not an age without history. It is here that the first ancestral traditions, languages, shamanic rites, hunting and agricultural customs, early conflicts over territory and the first awareness that individual groups are no longer just related branches, but distinct nations, arise.

The Age of the First Empires is when the tribal world of Ulvenor began to change into a world of cities, kingdoms, great wars, and the first ideas of state. The Elves were the first to form a true kingdom, and under the rule of the Sylvar laid the foundation of the First Elven Empire. The dwarves in the mountain halls formed an underground kingdom and established the Stone Crown after devastating strife. The Old Norse Empire, one of the first multiracial states, arose in the north. Kobolds developed their cities and centaurs began to migrate to the Great Plains. Orcs, humans, gnomes, orcs and other peoples entered history at their own pace. This age is therefore the true beginning of Ulvenor's political history.

The Age of Reshaping the World

The Age of World Reshaping is an epoch in which the old order of the First Empires began to give way to faster, more dynamic, and often more destructive forces. The biggest change was the arrival of elemental magic from the western continent, brought to Ulvenor by Sorcer. Originally a mysterious cult and school, elemental magic quickly spread, transforming warfare, state power, and race relations. It was in this age that Magnursia was formed, the Empire of Magnursar was born, the Great War took place, elven power was broken, kobolds and other races mastered new magical arts, and the world entered the current uneasy balance of 1470.
