Third Imperial Diet

The Third Imperial Diet was convened after the fall of Valendor II. and ending the Great Power War. At the Diet, John V was elected as the new emperor and the stability of the empire was restored.

Empire after the war

The Second Power War left the empire exhausted and divided. Many provinces were devastated and the political structure was disrupted. The convening of the Diet was necessary to restore central power and prevent further conflict.

Election of a new emperor

Jan V., the leader of the rebel alliance, was elected at the Diet. His election was seen as a compromise between the individual families. John V had the support of most of the nobility and was considered capable of restoring order to the empire.

The beginning of a new era

After ascending to the throne, John V initiated reforms aimed at restoring infrastructure, defense and the economy. The Third Imperial Diet thus marked the end of the period of wars and the beginning of a new, more stable era of the empire.
