The essence of lightning magic
Lightning is a manifestation of pure kinetic Essence — energy in constant motion. Unlike the other elements, lightning has no natural abode, but arises from the collision of other forces — where warm air collides with cold, where the Essence of the earth rubs against the Essence of the sky.
