Clash of wild orcs with followers of Gharmoth

Age of the First Empires culture clash 4 072 BIC

The meeting of exiled occultists with isolated orcs led to a brutal clash of two completely different worlds. This conflict not only destroyed most of the cultists in the region, but also caused the orcs to consider the world beyond their territory for the first time.

An isolated world of orcs

Orcs lived in isolation on the eastern edge of the continent for millennia. Separated by the frozen Lake Helk, later swamps and desert, they had no reason to contact the rest of the world. Their society was based on survival, strength and simple rules. Foreign influences were perceived as a threat.

The arrival of the occultists

When the exiled followers of Gharmoth reached their territory, they began to practice their rituals. Such behavior was unacceptable to orcs. They did not understand its meaning and perceived it as a danger.

A short and brutal conflict

Despite their abilities, the occultists didn't stand a chance against the orcs. Their numbers were small, and their fighting style was not suited to direct confrontation. The orcs systematically exterminated them and ended their presence in the region.

A change in orc thinking

However, this clash left a deeper mark. Orcs realized for the first time that a world beyond their borders existed. They gradually began to explore the western territories, which led to migration and the first contacts with other races. This began a new chapter in orc history.
