Garmoth
Gharmoth was an exiled vampire from the eastern continent who founded the first blood cult on Ulvenor. His teachings survived his death and still influence hidden currents of faith and power.
An outcast among his own
Gharmoth came from the continent of Albarit, home to an ancient race of vampires. However, unlike the others, he sought to gain power over others and create his own secret structure of influence. His ambitions led to his banishment. He was forced to leave his home and venture into the unknown.
Arrival at Ulvenor
After arriving on Ulvenor, he quickly realized that the world here was less advanced than the one he had left. He decided to take advantage of this. He targeted the people he thought were the most suitable for manipulation. Thanks to his abilities - strength, speed and the ability to fly - he began to present himself as a divine being.
Cult of blood
Gharmoth created the first organized cult that taught how to draw power from the blood of other beings. He taught his followers to create potions and rituals that allowed them to draw life energy. With this, he laid the foundation of a religion that gradually spread and survived even after his death.
Departure and legacy
After thousands of years on Ulvenor, Gharmoth disappeared. Some believe he died, others that he returned to his home continent. His body was said to have been placed in the shrine of Hondrix, where unexplained phenomena were supposed to take place after his death. However, his cult did not disappear. It survived in secret groups and still influences some parts of the world today, especially among the drow.
