The arrival of Gharmoth and the rise of the cult of blood
The arrival of the exile Gharmoth from the eastern continent of Albarit marked the beginning of one of the most dangerous religious movements in Ulvenor's history. Using his supernatural powers and manipulation of the human population, he created a cult that gradually grew into one of the longest surviving secret religions.
A stranger from Albarit
Gharmoth was not a being from Ulvenor. He came from the eastern continent of Albarit, where an ancient race of vampires lived. His origins are shrouded in mystery, but it is certain that he was an outcast. In his homeland, he attempted to create a secret power structure that would allow him to influence others. However, this attempt failed and Gharmoth was forced to leave.
The Discovery of Ulvenor
After arriving on Ulvenor, he first encountered orcs, but he quickly rejected them. Their way of life and unpredictability made them unsuitable followers. He therefore continued to the west, where he discovered human populations. It was here that he found the ideal environment – a race similar enough, but at the same time sufficiently impressionable.
The birth of a cult
Gharmoth began to claim to be a god. Thanks to his abilities - flight, superhuman strength and speed - he was able to convince the first followers. Gradually, he began to teach his followers how to obtain life energy from blood. He created the first potions that made it possible to break down blood into energy and transfer its effects to the user. This created the basis of the vampire cult, which combined ritual, faith and practical power.
Death and legend
Gharmoth lived on Ulvenor for approximately three thousand years. Eventually old age caught up with him too and he decided to leave. After his death, he was buried in the sanctuary of Hondrix, where, according to legend, strange signs began to appear. However, his cult did not disappear. On the contrary - it began to spread and gradually turned into a religion.
